Paragliding in the Hohe Salve holiday region in Tyrol
Experience the Alps from the air
Super thermal conditions and magically beautiful natural scenery make Hopfgarten im Brixental a hotspot for paragliders.
You have the chance to experience a tandem flight here from one of Tyrol's most stunning panoramic mountains, the Hohe Salve. Sail down to the valley with a paraglider and feel the freedom of weightlessness while paragliding in Tyrol.
Paragliding on the Hohe Salve mountain
You cover a difference in altitude of 1,000 metres when tandem flying from the Hohe Salve (1,829 m). Depending on the flight height, the experience lasts 10-15 minutes before your feet touch the landing spot. Together with certified and experienced professional pilots, who are very familiar with the region's conditions and coordinate the flight to suit the weather conditions, you can enjoy your paragliding flight to the full.
What do you need for paragliding?
No special requirements or prior knowledge is required for a tandem flight and even children can fly. However, ankle-high mountain boots, a jacket and sunglasses are recommended as you are highly exposed to the wind and sun on the mountain and in the air.
Paragliding at any time of year
Paragliding is possible all year round. Take off from the snow-covered slope in clear winter skies or see the alpine landscape's play on colours in the months of the year when there is no snow. You are sure to not forget the view over Tyrol from a bird's eye perspective for a long time to come.
